Madeira - A town on an island southwest of the Iberian Peninsula. It was only discovered recently, and development has begun based around agriculture. Its low latitude and hot-humid climate are ideal for growing sugarcane. It's also a suitable climate for making wine.
Madeira is located in the Western Europe region, and is in the North Atlantic Ocean port permit zone. It is on the Madeira waters sea zone, and is part of the Iberia cultural sphere. It is the territory of Portugal.
