When you want to upload new images please make sure it is not yet on the wiki.
You can check using these pages: (in preferred sequence)

1. Category:Browse and its sub-categories, images will be shown on bottom.
2. Special:UncategorizedFiles (feel free to add the appropriate category to the image page)
3. Special:UnusedFiles
4. Category:Images
5. Special:WantedFiles
6. All pages (File namespace)

This will drastically improve usability by all editors because we wont have duplicate images with different names.
