Step 1 - Divine statue of Caligula:
[Naples: Scholar]

Caligula was a noble and moderate young ruler, but it is said that his personality changed completely after falling to a grave illness. In order to deify himself, he ordered the construction of his own divine statue around where Jaffa is now. You can find out more from the books I have.

Step 2 - Whimsy of Caligula:
[Naples: browse Scholar's archaeology book]

Caligula, or Gaius, ordered the creation of a devine statue of himself to deify him, and placed it in the temple in Jerusalem. This enraged the local, who destroyed the statue in a riot and threw it out into the fields.

Final Step - Destroyed marble statue:
[Southeast Jaffa: outskirts]

The statue of Caligula that was destroyed by the locals of Jerusalem is somewhere outside of Jaffa. I should search near the large rock to the west [use observe & search, near large boulder]
