Cairo - Originally a fortress in the Byzantine empire, the Islamic movement built the city in the 10th century. Since then, it has prospered as a heartland of the Egyptian region. It distributes distinctive agricultural products as well as cotton.
Cairo is located in the Eastern Europe port permit area, and is part of the North African cultural sphere. It is located on the East Mediterranean Sea zone. A gateway to Southeast Cairo is in the city.
